Early Years Assessor
Part time - 25 hours per week

Rotherham Education Services (RES) supply casual and temporary staffing to the RNN Group. The RNN Group consists of Rotherham, Dearne Valley and North Notts colleges.
Are you passionate about supporting the learning journey of students within education?
As an Early Years Assessor, you will visit learners in the employer settings assessing the competency and knowledge of learners. You will manage a range of early years learners and review the progress of each learner in line with organisational expectations to ensure timely completion of qualifications.
This will include:
•Deliver targeted Year 2 theory and tutorials
•Conduct placement visits and handle associated paperwork
•Assess and feedback on portfolios and synoptic assessments across all courses
•Attend quality assurance meetings, travel to placements, perform compliance checks and observations and admin duties
Have you got what it takes to be successful?
You will….
•have experience working within an early-years setting
•have experience working as an assessor
•be qualified at Level 3 or above and hold an Assessor’s award
•hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or be willing to work towards.
You will be customer focused, organised, have a good understanding of the assessment process as well as having excellent IT skills and used a variety of IT platforms/systems.
