This opportunity will suit an experienced individual who is looking to advance their career, and who has a desire and ability to help further grow our business whilst working in a supportive team. This role can be based in either our Solihull or Birmingham central offices.
The role will allow the individual independence to lead and manage exciting projects as well as working alongside experienced Project Managers on high-profile schemes including projects worth up to £500m with clients including F1 Teams, corporates, Universities, retail, healthcare, and defence. The diverse and high-profile portfolio of projects would provide an individual with a variety of opportunities to continue growing their careers at Ridge.
Previous experience as a Project Manager is required, sector experience in rail, energy, utilities, highways would be an advantage.

* Raising Ridge’s profile and brand within the construction industry and region through service excellence and networking
* Demonstrating leadership qualities to our colleagues, clients and delivery partners with day-to-day responsibility and single point of contact for projects from inception to completion and close out
* Advise on and implement the selection and appointment of all necessary consultants and specialists
* Being a team player, steering team successes and growth
The skills and experience you need to have for this role
* Ideally chartered within RICS, APM or CIOB
* Strong understanding of project delivery processes from RIBA 0-6, with demonstratable construction project management experience
* NEC4 Contract experience
* The ability to lead projects and teams, and to develop long-lasting client relationships, with autonomy
* The ability to set up and drive new projects from inception, including the early stages of site de-risking, to completion and close out
* Exceptional communication and reporting, incorporating the use of MS Office, MS Project and/or alternative scheduling software
* Proactive and adaptable, strong ability to manage change

You will also need to show ambition and a willingness to work flexibly, both in the office and on-site, whilst demonstrating commercial awareness and exhibiting the ability to lead teams to complete the projects to agreed timelines.
