About The Role FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Sourcing Analyst to work for our client within the Banking & Financial Services sector. This is a 6 month contract and will be a hybrid role based in Glasgow, Knutsford/Manchester, or Northampton. Our client is seeking support on a large‑scale divestment programme. This role will support sourcing managers with vendor engagement, data analysis, contract preparation, and governance activities to ensure all extensions are completed by end of 2026. Responsibilities: • Support the preparation and execution of sourcing activity, including RFP/RFX documentation and vendor outreach. • Conduct spend analysis, data validation, and commercial baseline preparation to support negotiations. • Maintain trackers, documentation, audit trails, and compliance evidence across all vendor engagements. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Risk, Finance and Category teams to progress activities and gather required information. • Manage communication with suppliers to collect information, schedule meetings, request clarifications and support contract extension processes. About You • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets and extract insights (Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required). • Experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, commercial operations, or contract management. • Familiarity with sourcing processes (RFPs, negotiations support, contract lifecycle, governance). • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple concurrent workstreams. • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, commercial analysis, vendor management, or a related role. Preferred tools/competencies: Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, SharePoint, Contract Management Systems, Procurement/SRM tools.
