The Role
Our client is a RIBA chartered design‑led architectural practice specialising in high‑end luxurious residential builds and education buildings. Their work combines thoughtful design with technical precision and pride themselves on delivering high‑quality, detailed drawing packages for discerning clients. A skilled and detail‑oriented Architectural Technician is sought to join a growing team. You will play a key role in producing accurate, high‑quality technical drawings and supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to construction. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a close‑knit studio environment where your contribution will have a direct impact on the success of each project.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction packages using AutoCAD
* Develop and coordinate drawing information across all project stages
* Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards
* Liaise with architects, consultants, and contractors
* Assist with planning and building regulations submissions
* Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction
Requirements
* UK Architectural experience within an Architectural practice environment.
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
* Understanding of building construction, detailing, and regulations
* Experience working on residential and/or education projects
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a small team environment
* Good personality, someone who is outgoing, approachable, positive and enthusiastic
Desirable
* Experience with planning applications and tender packages
* Strong communication and client‑facing skills
