Your primary responsibility will be to provide essential cover for the milking of our 140 dairy cows, which include Shorthorns and Ayrshires. This support is crucial during staff holidays, illness, or other periods of staff shortage. As part of the herd management team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of animal welfare and milk production. Whether you're assisting with feeding, moving hay bales, or supporting daily livestock care, you'll be learning valuable techniques that are central to modern farm operations. It’s a great chance to build confidence and competence in a supportive environment, while working outdoors in the countryside as part of a knowledgeable and welcoming Farm Team.
