HV Electrical Engineer
Doncaster
£60-65 an hour
12 Month initial contract
Essential Skillset:
1. Support HV operations across BESS and grid-connected assets (up to 400kV systems)
2. Application of HV safety rules, switching procedures, and operational standards
3. Experience with HV switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and grid interfaces
4. Support development and application of safe systems of work and HV procedures
5. Understanding of HV risk management and operational safety requirements
6. Experience working with DNO/TSO interface requirements and Grid Code (G99/G100, RfG)
7. Support HV outage planning, switching programmes, and site operations
8. Strong understanding of HV asset operation and maintenance principles
9. Maintain and update operational and technical documentation
