Job Title: Accounts Manager/Administrator

Position Overview: They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Manager/Administrator to join their team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting the smooth functioning of our administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Handle payroll duties efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
* Conduct VAT submissions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Process invoices accurately and promptly.
* Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues that arise.
* Generate financial reports for management review.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
* Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
* Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Accounts Manager/Administrator or similar role.
* Proficiency in SAGE 50 software.
* Strong understanding of payroll processes and experience in payroll management.
* Familiarity with VAT submissions and regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Prior experience in the fire protection industry (preferred but not required).
Salary Range: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
