* £510 per day Inside IR35,
* 6-month contract, likely to extend
* Hybrid working, 3 days onsite in Wokingham
* Active SC Clearance required
* CREST or CyberScheme CHECK Team Member qualification required
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a leading technology and consulting organisation delivering advanced cyber security services to organisations operating within complex and highly regulated environments. Their security teams work across large scale enterprise infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms to strengthen cyber resilience and protect critical systems.
Due to continued demand for specialist security expertise, they are now looking for an experienced Penetration Tester to support the delivery of technical security assessments.

THE PENETRATION TESTER ROLE
As a Penetration Tester you will conduct comprehensive security assessments across infrastructure, networks, applications, and cloud environments. Using both manual and automated techniques, you will simulate real world attack scenarios to identify vulnerabilities and provide clear remediation guidance.
You will produce high quality technical reports and executive summaries, working closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to communicate findings clearly. The role also involves contributing to research, keeping up to date with emerging threats, and supporting wider security consultancy engagements where required.
PENETRATION TESTER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* CHECK Team Member qualification (CREST or CyberScheme)
* Strong penetration testing experience across networks, infrastructure, and applications
* Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nmap
* Cloud security experience with Azure
* Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
* Understanding of security standards including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR
* Strong written reporting and stakeholder communication skills
