This could not be a more exciting time to join our school. In September 2025 we will be rebranding to become Islip Manor High School and in March 2026 we will move into our brand new school building which is currently under construction at one end of our very large school site. After that, the buildings we're currently occupying will be demolished and the space they leave will become additional sports grounds. Follow us on our Instagram account to see details of our new building progress.

Islip Manor High School's Vision Is To Inspire Bright Futures By Building Strong Foundations, Upholding High Standards And Empowering The Growth Of Our Students' Vibrant Minds. We Have Five Values Which Shape Our Behaviours And Actions Every Day

* Curious: We will encourage questioning and develop critical thinking.
* Creative: We will embrace risks, solve problems and turn ideas into reality.
* Collaborative: we will work together to create an environment where every member of our community feels valued, respected and supported.
* Courageous: We will approach challenges with optimism and resilience.
* Confident: We will be confident in our skills and abilities.

We're a Foundation School in the London Borough of Ealing. Ealing schools have traditionally worked very collaboratively and it is no coincidence that Ealing's performance in national league tables is strong. Schools in Ealing have come together to form the Ealing Learning Partnership (ELP) in conjunction with the Council. This partnership provides us with a range of networks so that our staff are able to share and develop ideas and practice with Ealing colleagues across a range of schools.

Over the years we have developed clear systems to enable staff to work collectively to develop, test and embed best practice in order to improve our school. Termly innovation projects involve every member of staff, helping us to quickly and effectively share ideas whilst forging strong partnerships across the staff team. These projects ensure that systemic school improvement is embedded in everything we do whilst at the same time providing all staff members with a high quality leadership development programme.

The role of Examinations and Data Manager is a senior role within our administrative team. The postholder will have full responsibility for all aspects of student examinations, both external and internal. If you are successful in your application, we will provide training for you in our timetabling software (Edval) as you will be responsible for supporting with the development of the timetable each year along with maintaining its accuracy throughout the year. You will be working closely with a member of the senior leadership team to ensure that the data that we hold is accurate and that staff are presented with data reports which help them to make informed decisions. This role also incorporates line management responsibilities - the postholder line manages the team of invigilators who support us during the examination periods.

We will be the right school for you if you are committed to:

* Working closely in partnership with school staff in order to ensure that examinations run smoothly and that our data collection cycles are well planned and executed;
* Working effectively as part of a team to ensure that students are well prepared for external examinations and are supported to achieve well;
* Playing a full part in termly innovation projects to contribute to the development of school- wide continuous improvement;
* Contributing to the wider life of the school and our engagement with the local community whenever opportunities arise.

We Can Offer You

* Great support and training as you develop your career;
* The opportunity to innovate and bring in new ideas to contribute towards improving our school;
* A caring and supportive professional environment, with attention paid to staff wellbeing and helping staff to maintain a good work / life balance;
* A thoughtful and well-structured school calendar with careful attention paid to balancing workload;
* A commitment to providing high quality opportunities for you to continue your professional learning.

Our recruitment process
One of the Ealing Learning Partnership projects we have been engaged with in the last two years is a 'No Learner Left Behind' project to improve the outcomes of our Black Caribbean students. Informed by our work on this project, we conduct an annual analysis of the ethnicity profile of our student body. Our long term aim is to ensure that the profile of our staff group matches that of our students. At the moment, we are underrepresented in the following ethnicity groups: Arab, Asian, Black Caribbean, Black African and Traveller of Irish Heritage. We would therefore welcome applications from candidates who would classify themselves as belonging to these groups.

We are introducing a 'blind' selection process this year which we also hope will support us in reducing the risk of any unintended bias during our recruitment process. You will see that our application form is in two parts. Part one, which contains details about candidates' gender, ethnicity and age, is not shared with the staff who select candidates to bring them forward to the interview stage.
