What You’ll Be Doing:
* Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available depending on experience/specialism)
* Planning and delivering well-structured, inquiry-led lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking
* Preparing students for GCSE Science exams and supporting progression
* Promoting practical work through the effective use of labs and experiments
* Monitoring and tracking student progress, adapting your teaching where needed
* Collaborating with a strong and supportive Science department committed to innovation and high standards

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification
✔ Experience teaching combined or separate sciences in a secondary school setting
✔ A specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics – all welcomed
✔ Confident classroom management and strong organisational skills
✔ Passion for science education and a commitment to inclusive, student-centred teaching
✔ A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to whole-school initiatives

The pay rate is inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is offered on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent contract.
