Role Overview and Responsibilities
Test & or Inspect & record manufactured or repaired product to internal or external test specifications to a high degree of accuracy with the aid of ATE, or long hand test equipment.
This role is for 39 hours over 4 days - Monday to Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
* Test & or Inspect product in a timely manner in line with expected costed time restraints.
* Complete Test or Inspection tasks within a Quality Accredited environment, in accordance with both General Manufacturing and Aerospace controls.
* The role requires a zero tolerance to defects.
* Proactive outlook on an improvements culture with a view of continuous improvement.
* Work within a zero harm culture.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Core Requirements
* Proven track record of Safety and working as a willing, competent member of a team.
* Willingness to undertake annual Eye Examination & colour blindness checks.
* Flexible in approach, with willingness to learn new skills.
* Undertake learning programmes such as IPC 610/620 ISO quality controls as necessary.
* Close attention to detail, in terms of adhering accurately to internal specifications/test programmes and or customer specifications/drawings test specs.
* Ability to work in an orderly manner and organised in a 6S environment.
* Zero defects right first-time attitude.
* Able to work to required Key Point Indicators (KPI) with respect to quality of work, performance & output.
* Identifying & raising problems to the team (immediate/Wider).
* Working closely with the immediate/wider team to support OTTP delivery within a Zero Defects culture.
* Highlighting quality issues where required.
* Travel may be required to support business needs.
