Mental Health Enablement Efficiency Team Manager Lead
We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Team Manager to join us as a Mental Health Enablement Efficiency Lead for 18 months. This role focuses on embedding an enablement approach within mental health social work to build independence for service users.
Job responsibilities
* Lead the embedding of an enablement approach within mental health social work.
* Develop, implement and review a new approach to building the independence of people diagnosed with mental health issues who require social care services.
* Review current arrangements, design and implement service transformation, and identify areas for improvement.
* Work across Adults and Older Adults teams, including transitions.
* Review individuals referred and carry out baseline assessments to determine their needs.
* Co‑operate with commissioners, contracts, providers, Early Help, TEC, and health teams to develop enabling approaches.
* Conduct reviews and benchmarking to assess changes in individuals’ personal outcomes and level of care and support.
* Shape the role and create standard operating procedures to embed the practice across teams.
Working arrangements
Flexible working with the opportunity to work from home or in-office. The role requires travel across the county to meet service users and stakeholders.

About you
You are confident, dynamic, and enjoy making a difference in your local community. You are curious, spot hidden opportunities, build relationships, and map out processes to deliver efficiencies. You have experience working within mental health, are autonomous, confident in making independent decisions, proactive in seeking advice, and skilled at communicating difficult decisions to colleagues and professionals.
Essential requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
* Some management experience.
* Capability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently.
