Job Description
3. Experienced with tenable and venerability management
4. Upgrade of Sentinel workspace environment
5. Optimisation of Sentinel instances across the TPR estate
6. Integration between Sentinel and Defender to the current MS best practice
7. Support the Delivery Lead with meeting the requirements of the Cyber Improvement Programme
8. Working with the other IT Operations teams to ensure minimal disruption through effective planning
9. Develop and implement robust cyber security measures to protect systems and data.
10. Monitor and analyse security incidents to mitigate potential risks.
11. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
12. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
13. Provide technical guidance on cyber security best practice
The Successful Applicant
A successful Cyber Security Engineer should have:
14. Proven experience in cyber security within the technology sector.
15. Excellent experience with Tenable and Vunerability Management
16. Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
17. Ability to demonstrate experience in both BAU and project based engineering
18. Ability to analyse and respond effectively to security incidents.
19. Familiarity with conducting risk assessments and implementing controls.
20. Relevant certifications or qualifications in cyber security or related fields.
21. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
