The Role: Reporting into the Category Development Director, you’ll be the go-to person for all things category – turning insight into action and helping commercial, marketing, and NPD teams make smarter, more effective decisions. Own and develop the category strategy for key retail accounts Build strong, strategic relationships with retailers – becoming their trusted advisor Deliver clear, compelling insight across range, pricing, promotions, and shopper behaviour Play a key role in NPD planning, product launches, and range reviews Track and respond to category trends, competitor moves, and consumer behaviour Support internal teams with data-led recommendations and presentations What You’ll Bring: Solid experience in Category Management within FMCG Confidence working with major UK grocery retailers A sharp analytical brain – comfortable with Nielsen, Kantar, IRI, and Excel Strong communication and influencing skills The ability to work proactively, independently, and cross-functionally A curious, commercial mindset – someone who likes asking "what if?"
