About the Mortgage Administrator Role
As a Mortgage Administrator, you will support the full mortgage lifecycle from application to completion. You will work closely with advisers, clients, lenders and solicitors to ensure every case progresses accurately, compliantly and efficiently. This role suits someone who enjoys structure, takes ownership and wants to deepen their expertise in mortgage administration.
Mortgage Administrator Key Responsibilities
* Input and manage new mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout.
* Assist brokers with all aspects of the mortgage process, from application to completion.
* Oversee all compliance requirements, ensuring cases adhere to regulatory standards.
* Handle general enquiries from brokers, clients, and third parties promptly and professionally.
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
* Managing product transfer cases and supporting basic research
* Ensuring all files meet compliance standards including ESIS, Fee Agreements, Fact Finds and Suitability Letters
* Adhering to FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and company processes
* Maintaining accurate, secure and compliant client records
Skills and Experience Required
* Experience as a Mortgage Administrator within financial services, a brokerage or an IFA environment
* Strong understanding of mortgage processes and documentation
* Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with clients
* High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Experience using Intelligent Office is desirable
* Ability to produce accurate, timely work under pressure
* CeMAP or CII studies beneficial but not essential
* Knowledge of the Later Life Lending market is desirable
