Job Description
We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our growing Growth & Strategic Finance Team in London.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on company transactions, understand growth strategies, and provide seamless service to our customers. Your work will impact millions of our customers.
We seek a detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. You will drive data analytics, build predictive models, and leverage machine learning to support strategic decisions across the company.
As part of the FP&A team, you will partner with finance, operations, and product teams to uncover insights, forecast trends, and identify operational efficiencies and revenue opportunities. Your role is crucial in transforming complex data into actionable insights to enable data-driven decisions organization-wide.
Responsibilities include:
* Data analysis and visualization: collect, clean, and process large datasets; develop dashboards and reports; analyze trends and performance.
* Predictive modeling and forecasting: design models to forecast revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow; develop scenario analyses; embed models into FP&A processes.
* Operational efficiency and automation: identify automation opportunities; build data pipelines; improve data infrastructure.
* Data quality and governance: ensure data integrity; train team members on data practices.
* Strategic insights: perform ad-hoc analyses; collaborate with teams; communicate findings clearly.
About you:
* Experience building and deploying machine learning models in a business context; financial modeling skills are a plus.
* Strong Python and software engineering skills; ability to read code; experience collaborating with engineering and analytics teams.
* Product mindset; ability to work independently across teams.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to refine problem statements.
