What will you be doing as a Class 2 Driver?
16. Driving a Class 2 Vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
17. Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homes
18. Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
19. Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
20. Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured
21. Always providing a first-class customer service experience
Relevant skills and experience as a Class 2 Driver:
22. This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting – essential that you are physically able to lift items
23. Valid Class 2 License
24. Valid Digital Tachograph card
25. Full Driver Qualification card (Driver CPC)
26. A general understanding of driver's hours legislation and working time directive
27. No more than 6 points on driving license
28. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
29. Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
30. DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
