DescriptionJob title: Higher Apprentice Supply ChainLocation: FrimleySalary: Starting from £23,493 per annum, with annual progression through the scheme durationWhat you will be doing:Responsible for co-ordinating demand, buying products, managing suppliers and ensuring our inventory is safely stored and maintained.Raising purchase orders for multi-million pound contracts, reviewing supplier risk & intelligence portfolios or developing creative storage solutions.During the three-year Supply Chain Apprenticeship you will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment on business critical projects.Working alongside our experts, you will help us deliver the right product, at the right time for the right price, all whilst ensuring our Supply Chain promotes diversity and creativity.Rotate to a different part of our Supply Chain Function ensuring you have a varied, challenging and exciting experience. We are responsible for the design, build, test and commissioning of these state-of-the-art vessels. In total, seven boats will make up the fleet, each weighing a mighty 7,400 tonnes.Dreadnought is the successor to the Vanguard class of nuclear deterrent submarines. We will deliver four submarines to the Royal Navy, with the first submarine entering service in the early 2030s.
