Are you looking for a very unique opportunity to join a specialist automotive engineering and manufacturing organisation where your career path will see you progress to Managing Director within a 3-5 year period?
The organisation operates in a number of key areas within the automotive sector including:
* Design
* Prototyping
* Component manufacture and production including tooling
* One off / very low volume whole vehicle production
* Special projects
Initially the role will be very hands-on, working with your 3 or 4 direct reports to ensure that all metrics are met in terms of timescales, fit for purpose, quality, health and safety, cost and compliance. As time progresses, you will be expected to take on more strategic responsibility to allow the current Managing Director to transition into the role of Chairman.
About you:
* Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject - Mechanical, Electrical, Motorsport, Automotive, Manufacturing or very similar
* Post-graduate qualifications are preferred but not essential
* Chartered Engineer or Chartered Manager certification is beneficial
* Able to demonstrate a diverse range of experience in design, engineering and manufacturing in either the automotive or aerospace sectors
* Commercially aware
* Ambitious
