We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced HGV Technicians to join their brand-new commercial vehicle workshop in Wellingborough.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new site launch from day one, working with all-new equipment in a modern, purpose-built facility. If you’re a skilled HGV Technician who takes pride in quality, safety, and teamwork, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
Responsibilities as a HGV Technician:
7. Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trailers and other commercial vehicles
8. Diagnose faults efficiently and complete repairs to DVSA standards
9. Work both independently and as part of a supportive team
10. Assist with road-based repairs and breakdowns where required
11. Maintain accurate records, paperwork and warranty claims
Requirements for the HGV Technician Role:
12. Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI) in HGV Maintenance & Repair
13. Full UK driving licence (Class One advantageous)
14. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
15. MOT Licence beneficial but not essential
