🚧 Senior Civil Engineer – Wastewater Infrastructure

📍 Remote (UK-based) | 📅 12+ Month Contract | 💼 Outside IR35

We’re hiring! Join a forward-thinking team delivering critical wastewater infrastructure across the UK. This long-term project (3-year scope) offers a unique opportunity to lead structural and civil design on high-impact environmental programmes—all from the comfort of your home.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

* Lead design of reinforced concrete structures, pipework, chambers, tanks, and pump stations
* Conduct hydraulic assessments and produce technical documentation
* Oversee junior engineers and ensure design quality
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors
* Ensure compliance with UK standards and contribute to value engineering


🎯 What We’re Looking For

* Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng)
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (ICE/IStructE) or working toward it
* 5–7+ years in UK wastewater/infrastructure sectors
* Strong experience in reinforced concrete and buried pipework
* Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Tekla TEDDS, STAAD, Robot, Revit
* Excellent communication and leadership skills


⭐ Bonus Points For

* Experience with Tier 1 contractors or UK water utilities
* Familiarity with AMP frameworks and BIM Level 2 workflows
