Shepherd Neame is looking for a Sous Chef to join our team. If you are a proven chef with senior-level experience and you are seeking a new challenge, this may be the job for you.
Located in Bearstead, near Maidstone, the Oak on the Green sits on one of the prettiest village greens in England. Founded in 1665, the Oak Inn hosted notable visitors such as Baroness Orczy and Alfred Percy 'Tich' Freeman. Today, the Oak on the Green is renowned for using largely local produce across its menu, offering both British and Mexican cuisine.
We know that an excellent Sous Chef is a key ingredient to a successful kitchen. This role will see you supporting your Head Chef, deputising in their absence, and assisting with the development of the kitchen team to deliver efficient, high-quality food service to our customers.
