Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking independent firm of Chartered Surveyors, is seeking a skilled Rural Surveyor to join their team in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor to take on diverse responsibilities and contribute to the firm's continued success.
Position Overview
The Rural Surveyor will play a key role in delivering a wide range of services to the firm's diverse and loyal client base, with a focus on valuations, tenancy advice, taxation, inheritance planning, development agreements, renewable deals, and infrastructure work.
Responsibilities
* Conduct valuations for various purposes
* Provide expert tenancy advice to clients
* Assist with taxation and inheritance planning matters
* Negotiate and manage development agreements
* Advise on renewable energy deals
* Contribute to significant infrastructure projects
Requirements
* MRICS or FRICS qualification
* Ideally, at least 5 years of post-qualification experience
* Strong expertise in rural surveying
* Proficiency in valuations, tenancy advice, and taxation
* Experience with development agreements and renewable deals
* Flexibility to work on a variety of projects
