About the role
The WHO PSRL is part of the Infection, Immunity and Inflammation Department at the GOS ICH. The core role of the group is to conduct high quality research for the evaluation of immunological responses to vaccines by ELISA and OPA. The main purpose of the job is to support the research of the WHO Pneumococcal Serology Reference Laboratory (WHO PSRL). The role will involve supporting the Klebsiella research team in a laboratory technician role and to assist the team in the daily running of the opsonophagocytic and Luminex assays. this post is available for 12 months in the first instance.
About you
A BSc or higher in a relevant biological discipline. Experience of microbiological and tissue culture techniques. Laboratory experience in a GCP, GMP, GLP or ISO accredited laboratory. Please check job description/ person specification for detailed information.
