Weighbridge Operator Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Weighbridge Operator to join our cleints site team. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing vehicle movements, completing accurate weighbridge documentation, and providing excellent customer service to drivers and site visitors.
You will also support compliance, safety, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the facility.
Weighbridge Operator Responsibilities

Operate the weighbridge in line with site procedures and legislation

Control site access and manage vehicle movements onto and off the site
*
Accurately record vehicle weights, waste types, and ticket information
*
Ensure all drivers and visitors follow site rules and safety procedures
*
Maintain accurate documentation and input data into site systems
*
Liaise with drivers, internal teams, and external partners professionally
*
Support reporting and compliance processes (e.g., waste transfer notes)
*
Assist with general administrative and site support duties as required
Weighbridge Operator Background
*
Previous weighbridge or gatehouse experience desirable
*
Experience in waste, recycling, industrial, logistics or similar environment advantageous
*
Strong customer service and communication skills
*
Good IT literacy and confidence using computer systems
*
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
*
Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance standards
*
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or within a team
