Are you passionate about making pets a priority? Here at CVS, so are we! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Highcroft Vet Group.
Location and Contract
Location: Based at our Whitchurch Hospital
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 21.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, with a 1:4 share in the Weekend rota. The exact shift pattern is below:
* Monday: 14.00 - 20.00
* Tuesday: 14.00 - 20.00
* Friday: 14.00 - 20.00
* 1:4 Saturdays: 08.30 - 17.00
* 1:4 Sundays: 14.00 - 20.00

Role and Responsibilities
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
* Answering phones and booking appointments
* Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
* Registering new clients
* Completing insurance forms
* Dispensing medications
* Taking payments
* Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice
What We're Looking For
* Previous Receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus
* Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
* An excellent communicator with strong empathy
* Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
* A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
