Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will support the development of AI and machine learning techniques to enhance capabilities and effectiveness.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Innovate by leveraging state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to meet capability requirements.
2. Design and build data pipelines utilizing AI/ML to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Select appropriate libraries and frameworks for machine learning applications relevant to our technical needs.
4. Apply technical skills across workstreams including machine learning, data science, and numerical simulation.
5. Collaborate with teams to develop, train, and validate models.
6. Research and present the latest machine learning technologies and techniques to team members.
Requirements
1. Degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in motorsport.
3. Strong background in statistics, data science, machine learning algorithms, and optimization techniques.
4. Experience with PyTorch or similar frameworks, and tools like PyVista and NumPy.
5. Practical knowledge of software development practices, including version control.
6. Enthusiasm for applying machine learning to engineering challenges.
7. Effective communication skills with stakeholders and team members.
8. Proficiency in IT skills including MS Office suite.
9. Commitment to fostering an open and inclusive culture.
