Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Significant experience in substation design and engineering, ideally with a background in EHV/HV AIS and GIS substation projects.
Certifications & Skills:
Contractor Design Approval Engineer (CDAE) for HV plant or equivalent authorization under national regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software, particularly MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Familiarity with industry standards and specifications for high-voltage electrical infrastructure in the UK or comparable markets.
Certifications & Skills:
Certification as a Contractor Design Approval Engineer (CDAE) for HV plant or equivalent authorization under national regulations.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working toward chartered registration.
Expertise in substation primary design including equipment layout, grounding and lightning protection, steelwork interfaces, transformers, switchgear, and cable systems.
Strong understanding of HV/MV cable sizing, earthing system calculations, and system integration.
Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software, particularly MicroStation and AutoCAD.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) and work across both office and site-based environments.
