We are seeking a talented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to gain valuable experience in the construction industry. This role is based on projects located in the UK.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets
* Help with cost control, monitoring, and reporting of projects
* Conduct site visits to assess progress and compare against project schedules
* Measure and value work done on-site, ensuring accurate record-keeping
* Assist with procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness
* Work closely with senior quantity surveyors and project managers
* Prepare and submit payment applications and invoices
Qualifications
* Relevant Third level in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project)
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work well in a team and manage time effectively
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
* Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD or similar
