We’ve got an exciting, new opportunity for a Property Assistant to join our regional operations team. This role involves taking accountability for cleaning standards in a specific geographic area. Our Property Assistants provide an essential service to our homeowners; our managed service alleviates the stress of letting out a holiday home, as we handle cleaning, maintenance, check-in, and more.
Awaze is Europe’s largest manager of holiday rental properties, with 110,000 units under management across over 600 destinations in 25 countries. Our purpose is to delight owners and guests. We operate more than 25 consumer brands including Cottages.com, Novasol, and Hoseasons.
Role: Property Assistant
Location: Keswick office (CA12 5HF)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, with Saturday availability essential, 9am–5pm office hours
What you’ll be doing
Under the guidance of the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards across our properties and partnering with third-party cleaning teams to enhance guest experiences. You’ll play a key role in maintaining operational excellence in and around Keswick.
This role is ideal for those who enjoy vibrant environments and are committed to developing effective local teams that provide excellent service.
Key responsibilities
1. Manage and support a team of third-party cleaners
2. Set and maintain high cleaning standards and ensure proper training for cleaners
3. Address guest feedback on cleanliness appropriately
4. Liaise with property owners to suggest improvements
5. Ensure adequate supply of cleaners for current and future needs
6. Use data to improve quality, efficiency, and costs
