Job Summary
To provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to clinical & non‑clinical staff to ensure the smooth running of the service.
Responsibilities
* Administrative and clerical support to clinical & non‑clinical staff.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer/work experience in a health, education, or social care environment.
* Undertake on‑the‑job training and induction.
* Undertake mandatory Health Care Support Worker Standards.
* Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
* Working knowledge of basic information technology.
Preferred
* SVQ II in health care or working towards, or equivalent experience working in a caring environment/role.
* Further education/evidence of CPD in area of work including study days and courses.
* Commitment to ongoing personal development, as identified personally or due to the demands of the services.
Contract Type
Permanent – Full time or Part Time. Various hours. For part time, salary is pro‑rata.
Location
This role will be based in Ward 21, Ward 22 & DAU within University Hospital Wishaw.
