A new opportunity has arisen for a flexible and resourceful Design Technology Technician to join our team at John F Kennedy Catholic School, playing a crucial role in supporting the department with preparation and assistance with materials as well as facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
* You’ll be responsible for the preparation of a range of materials and apparatus for the Design Technology curriculum within teaching rooms for academic staff and students.
* Ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard, conforming to Health and Safety standards.
* Assist in auditing the use of facilities and equipment and maintaining the equipment stores.
Job requirements
* GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively monitor usage and standards of equipment and facilities
* Knowledge of relevant school policies and codes of safe practice within the classroom
