11:00/11:3020:00/20:30) Key Responsibilities for this CNC Machinist Role: Set and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines (no programming required) Complete tooling changes, fixturing, and offset adjustments to maintain efficient production Produce components to drawing specifications using accurate in-process inspection Use additional shop-floor equipment such as band saws and manual/conventional machines (training provided if needed) Maintain safe working practices at all times in the machine shop Support departmental productivity by maintaining strong throughput and minimising downtime Work closely with offline programmers and senior machinists to resolve machining issues Keep work areas clean and follow all quality, safety, and housekeeping standards Requirements for this CNC Machinist Role: Around 5 years of CNC machining experience (3-axis and 5-axis ideal) Ability to confidently set and operate CNC machines programming not required Background can be in wood, plastic, metal, composite, or similar machining Strong understanding of engineering drawings and measurement tools Apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualifications preferred but not essential Able to hit the ground running with solid machining fundamentals Flexible to work across different machines or specialise depending on business needs Enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated to maintain high quality and output levels Benefits: Training available on additional wood-machining equipment Opportunity to work across multiple CNC machine types and broaden your skillset Long-term development opportunities with apprentices progressing through the shop If youre interested in this CNC Machinist opportunity, please apply or contact Jamie Garcia-Courtice at .
