Your role:
To generate an increase in net sales, retain assets and have lead responsibility for our commercial strength in the Strategic Partnerships channel.
What we are we looking for:
10. Developing awareness of Invesco’s global capabilities and ensuring these are successfully delivered to the appropriate clients across the Strategic Partnerships channel, in conjunction with your other team member(s).This includes, but is not limited to, ICVC funds, ETFs, MPS propositions and bespoke solutions
11. Take the lead on building and strengthening Invesco relationships by identifying, developing and maintaining individual relationships with key personnel, at all levels of their organisations, within your target market
12. Ownership, development and execution of a clearly articulated and comprehensive strategy for your channel which focuses on sales growth, maintaining assets and increasing commercial awareness across UK Distribution
13. Work collegiately and collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to ensure that together you build the Invesco business, develop key client relationships and exceed Sales targets. Communication of strategy, insights and opportunities is a key function of the role
14. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and maintain a competitive edge
15. Establish and maintain appropriate oversight and review mechanisms to deliver high levels of expected client service, promotional activity and investment communication
16. Become fully experienced in using key systems (including Salesforce) for the purposes of business and client planning, client communication, both internal and external, and Compliance. To also be responsible for ensuring that you and your team maintain accurate and timely records of client conversations/meetings
What you can bring:
17. Strong experience of all matters pertaining to client relationship management, commercial awareness / negotiating and prospecting at all levels.
18. Demonstrable experience of building and successfully executing a broad & wide ranging channel specific business plans / strategies
19. Excellent understanding of investment products, commercial / investment strategy and the retail market place
20. Experience of selling products under UCITS and AIFMD regimes, ideally to Strategic Partnership clients, is advantageous
21. Results-orientated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
22. Exceptional fund, market, commercial and industry knowledge as a result of keeping fully up to date with market views and industry related topics
23. Educated to degree level or equivalent. Alternatively, sufficient experience with relevant professional industry qualifications
24. The successful candidate is required to have, as a minimum, a level 3 professional industry qualification to meet Mifid II information giver requirements
25. Full driving licence required
26. Adaptive and responsive to changes in client needs and the industry environment
27. Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels of business
28. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate to a broad range of people whilst maintaining a strong commercial focus
29. Ability to work with others and build strong relationships is absolutely essential
30. Person must be highly motivated and be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic
31. The individual will be expected to participate in and lead project based tasks, therefore project management skills are desirable
32. Some flexibility regarding working hours and able to accommodate travel
