Assistant Management Accountant - Middlewich - Permanent Role
Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (1 hour lunch)
Salary: Circa £28,000 per annum
Silver Arrow require an Assistant Management Accountant to work for a prestigious & niche transport company based in Middlewich.

Your Role:
* Bank postings and reconciliations on a weekly basis on the current accounts on Sage.
* Reconciling the purchase ledger at month end, including balancing to supplier statements received on critical suppliers.
* Manual sales invoicing as required.
* Reconcile sub-contraction postings on our haulage system at the end of each month.
* Bringing reporting to a TB stage at the end of each month ready for review with by the Group FC.
* Journal processing and reconciliation of key nominal accounts on a monthly basis.
* Help and support during company audits and year ends reporting.
* Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register.
* Payroll experience would be beneficial for covering staff in sickness/holiday cover
What we need from you:
* Good excel skills and be able to work with Pivot tables and large amounts of data.
* Sage 200 experience will also be required.
* Flexibility and can work over the majority of functions within the department.
* Work on your own initiative and with other colleagues within a very commercial company.
* Strong attention to detail and a structured approach.
* To be part qualified or currently looking to qualify as either CIMA or ACCA.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced busy office environment.
