Role Overview
Trade Counter Assistant / Driver.
Hours: 44 per week – Permanent role. Schedule: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday; 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on a Saturday rota.
Compensation
Basic salary: £29,080.48 per year.
Bonus/OTE: Realistic total earning potential up to £32,680.48 per year.

Responsibilities
* Lead hand‑on, customer‑focused day‑to‑day branch operations with the Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor.
* Manage trade counter sales, achieving sales targets and confidently communicating product knowledge.
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers.
* Pick, load and deliver products to customers using Eurocell’s 3.5‑tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.
* Plan routes, drive safely and keep the company vehicle clean.
* Support the Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full.
* Comply with health and safety, company policies and procedures.
* Ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards and branch sales targets are achieved.
* Assist with the delivery of branch operations and support colleagues as required.
* Maintain branch standards, including warehouse and stock management, front‑of‑house cleanliness and point of sale.
Qualifications
* Passionate and energetic customer‑service focus with a commercial approach to drive sales.
* Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and use own initiative.
* Confident IT user with experience of MS Office and industry‑standard software such as SAP.
* Full and valid driving licence is essential; a FLT licence is a distinct advantage.
* Previous branch stock‑take experience is an advantage.
* Comfortable working in a small team and occasionally alone.
* Experience in a similar role within a trade/builders merchant/retail, glazing or uPVC environment is an advantage.
