About the role: As a KS2 (Key Stage 2) Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a broad and balanced curriculum to children in upper primary years. You’ll play a crucial role in nurturing independent learning, creativity, and critical thinking in a safe and encouraging environment. Responsibilities of KS2 Teacher: Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the KS2 curriculum Monitor and assess pupil progress, keeping accurate records Create a positive, stimulating and inclusive learning atmosphere Use varied teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles Support the emotional and social development of pupils Communicate effectively with parents, staff and external agencies Uphold and promote the school’s values and behaviour policies Key Stage 2 Teacher Requirements: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils across UK primary schools A sound understanding of the National Curriculum for KS2 Strong classroom and behaviour management skills A proactive and reflective teaching style Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply Why Join GSL Education?
