KS2 Teacher
Are you an experienced and passionate KS2 Teacher looking for a temporary teaching role? Teaching Personnel is recruiting a KS2 Primary Teacher for a maternity cover position, starting after the October half term within the Tameside area. The school have said this cover will be needed for between 9-12 months.

Salary: £130-180 per day
Start date: Monday 3rd November 2025
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 2
* Assess and monitor pupil progress to ensure every child reaches their potential
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
* Collaborate with staff, parents, and leadership to support pupil development
* Maintain accurate records of assessment in line with school’s policies
* Contribute to the school community during the maternity cover period
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching KS2 pupils and strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
* Commitment to supporting children’s academic and personal growth
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Early Career Teachers and Fully Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
