Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our dynamic lighting manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will be based at a fully equipped workbench, where you will focus on assembling and packing high-quality lighting products.
With comprehensive in-house training provided, you will have the opportunity to advance your skills, including wiring and electrical testing, to complete full product builds—from stocked components to finished, boxed items ready for delivery.
You will be responsible for maintaining a tidy workspace and may occasionally support the warehouse team with various tasks. Additionally, there may be exciting opportunities to work on new product samples, tackle challenging custom projects, assist with deliveries, and visit client sites to provide on-site services.
Duties
* Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
* Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production goals are met.
* Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the assembly area.
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Assist in the training of new assembly line workers as needed.

Location and Hours:
This is a full-time position available for an immediate start, located at our factory in Mitcham, Surrey. We are conveniently situated just a short walk from Mitcham Junction station, with excellent connections via Tramlink, National Rail, and Thameslink services.
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with potential for paid overtime during peak periods.
