We are seeking a passionate Events Coordinator to lead business development opportunities for MeCycle, a social enterprise based in Ainsdale.
MeCycle Café is more than just a café; it’s a vibrant social hub, evening venue, and bike shop. Owned by Autism Initiatives, we aim to create an inclusive environment where young autistic individuals can gain valuable work experience. Established in 2011, we started by recycling and refurbishing donated bikes. Today, we are a popular spot for locals and cyclists from afar, serving home-cooked food, cakes, craft beers, and barista coffee.
As an Events Coordinator, you will design, organise, promote, and deliver successful events, classes, and evening openings to increase income and footfall. You should have experience using social media for engaging business promotion, leading to increased followers and customers.
You should also have skills in photography and filming content via phone and be enthusiastic about creating innovative, successful events aligned with targets.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in sales, business development, or events to develop and expand our successful social enterprise with new skills!
