Responsibilities
* Providing attentive, nurturing care for both children
* Planning stimulating and age‑appropriate activities
* Attending classes, playgroups, and arranging playdates
* Encouraging outdoor play and exploration
* Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
* Preparing healthy meals for the children
* Travelling with the family when required (regular trips to Switzerland and around the UK – desirable but not essential)
Qualifications
* Previous childcare experience with babies and toddlers
* Warm, organised, and reliable
* Confident creating engaging routines and activities
* Driver preferred (though not essential – close to public transport)
Salary: £28,572 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience and if living in or living out)
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, or Monday to Thursday + Friday morning (approx. 45 hours/week, flexibility offered; start from 6am)
A family based in central Oxford (OX1) is looking for a kind, proactive, and experienced childcare professional to care for their 2‑year‑old and a newborn (due end of January 2026). Mum will be on maternity leave until April 2026, and the role will transition into a sole charge position thereafter. Both parents regularly work from home.
Accommodation – This can be a live‑in or live‑out role. A small private annex is provided for the nanny's exclusive use, consisting of a bed/sitting room, and kitchen. The bathroom is located in the main house.
