Job Title: Personal Injury Solicitor/ Legal Executive Location: Plymouth (flexible hybrid working available) Salary: Up to £50,000 Contract: Full-time or temporary (flexible arrangements considered) About the Role We’re working with a well-regarded law firm in Plymouth seeking to recruit a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their Serious Injury team. This is a key position with responsibility for an existing caseload, covering a mix of RTA, EL, PL, and Disease matters from fast-track claims to large loss cases, all acting for claimants. You’ll be supported by a dedicated Legal Assistant and expected to work with a good level of autonomy. Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse claimant personal injury caseload with minimal supervision Handle files from instruction through to settlement or trial Collaborate closely with an assigned Legal Assistant Effectively use the firm’s case management system (familiarity with multiple systems is an advantage) Attend the Plymouth office on a flexible basis (e.g. 2 days per week or 1 full week per month) (Optional) Support with a small number of civil, non-PI litigation matters, with scope to expand Candidate Requirements 7–8 years PQE (or equivalent as a Legal Executive) Proven experience in claimant personal injury work Able to run a varied caseload independently Ideally experienced in RTA, EL, PL and Disease matters Additional civil litigation experience desirable Willing to work flexibly with occasional office attendance What’s on Offer Competitive salary up to £50,000 Hybrid working with flexible office presence Dedicated Legal Assistant support Supportive, well-established team culture Permanent or interim contracts considered
