Lecturer in English
As a Lecturer in English, you will join our Ofsted Rated Good Colleges Group, delivering effective teaching programs within your competency areas, focusing on developing independent learners and facilitating student progression.
You will work closely with Specialist Learning Coaches to assist learners facing barriers to learning, helping them overcome these barriers to ensure high levels of attendance, retention, and achievement. This includes assessing learners from application through progression, setting targets and milestones, and providing necessary support where needed.
The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 or higher qualification in English, along with a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one within the first two years in role. Experience and knowledge of curriculum development, managing the learning process, and supporting learners to achieve high success are essential.
