Management Accountant-Construction Our client a long established and respected construction company are recruiting a Management Accountant to join the team. Established over 30 years they turnover £120 million approx. The successful Management Accountant will ideally come from a construction background. Job Description The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities: Role & Responsibilities Duties will include but not be limited to; Preparation of monthly Management Accounts Analysing the monthly financial results Bank and cash flow analysis Bank and Nominal reconciliations PAYE/CIS and VAT submissions Assist in the creation of management reports for the company Directors Auditing internal accounting processes and procedures Reporting to the Finance Director in all areas of finance The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will likely have the following profile: You will be a part qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA or CIMA) with more than 3 years relevant experience You will have strong accounting systems and management reporting skills that can be evidenced through your experience. You will have a flexible approach and will be able to multi task and effectively prioritise your workload and have an enthusiasm for new projects alongside business-as-usual activity. The ability to communicate with non-finance stakeholders at all levels is essential.
