We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ICT/Computer Science Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Leeds. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the educational journey of our students, working part-time from 22nd May to 10th July 2024, exclusively on Wednesdays.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
2. Proven experience in teaching ICT/Computer Science at the secondary school level.
3. Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
6. Commitment to fostering a supportive and respectful classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
7. Delivering high-quality ICT and Computer Science lessons to secondary school students.
8. Planning and preparing engaging and informative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
9. Assessing and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
10. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
11. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for our students.
