About the Role
As a Senior PR Manager, you’ll shape and implement strategic media campaigns to enhance client exposure and credibility. You’ll produce engaging written materials from press announcements to thought leadership articles tailored for a range of platforms and audiences. You’ll stay attuned to the media landscape, spot developments, and capitalise on coverage opportunities.
You’ll work with in-house teams spanning design, digital, and content to deliver cohesive campaigns. Responsibilities include overseeing client accounts, driving media outreach, and securing high-quality coverage through targeted pitching and relationship-building.
You’ll cultivate strong ties with journalists across national, regional, and trade outlets. You’ll identify opportunities to showcase client perspectives in the press, craft editorially suitable messaging, and ensure communications are polished and purposeful. You’ll align PR initiatives with broader marketing objectives and monitor headlines to keep clients visible and relevant.
About you
To be considered for this Senior PR Manager role you’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced PR environment. You’ll bring exceptional writing and editorial skills, with a sharp instinct for news and the ability to shape stories that resonate. A strong understanding of the UK media landscape across national, regional, digital, and trade press is essential, as is the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to colleagues and clients.
You should thrive on collaboration, have a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable juggling deadlines without compromising quality. A natural problem-solver, you’ll identify opportunities and deliver creative solutions quickly. Bonus points if you’re experienced in monitoring media coverage, familiar with digital and social media trends, and keen to contribute to team knowledge sharing and innovation.
