Are you a Chartered Building Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? A respected multi-disciplinary consultancy in Cardiff is seeking an experienced surveyor to deliver a mix of advisory and project-based work across residential, commercial, and public sector properties.
This role gives you the chance to combine technical surveying expertise with practical project delivery, from property assessments and contract management to sustainability initiatives and innovative building solutions.
What You'll Do:
* Lead building condition and pre-acquisition surveys, providing clear, actionable advice
* Manage party wall matters and dilapidation projects from start to finish
* Oversee projects, ensuring contracts, budgets, and programmes run smoothly
* Prepare reports, specifications, and schedules that help clients make informed decisions
* Advise on property acquisitions, development opportunities, and ongoing asset management
* Contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives within projects
Who We're Looking For:
* MRICS qualified (essential) with a degree in Building Surveying or related field
* Experience in a consultancy environment, delivering both advisory and project-based work
* Strong knowledge of building pathology, contract administration, and project delivery
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
* Interest in sustainable building design and improving performance
