Performance Objectives
* The Assistant Engineer will provide both proactive and reactive support for all automated systems on site. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where your efforts directly impact operational performance, equipment availability, and site productivity.
* Respond to conveyor system jams and stoppages
* Reset emergency stop buttons as required
* Log issues and complete maintenance records using computerised systems
* Always promote and maintain safe working practices, escalating H&S concerns as needed
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by reporting recurring issues and suggesting solutions
* Ensure high availability of equipment to support warehouse operations
* Conduct routine cleaning of automation equipment in line with hygiene standards
Person Specification
1. Basic qualifications & computer literacy.
2. Good level of communication.
