Key Responsibilities
Breakfast Service & Kitchen Operations
Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to consistently high standards
Work closely with senior chefs to deliver a smooth, efficient morning service
Maintain strong communication during daily kitchen briefings
Uphold a positive, collaborative, and quality-driven kitchen culture
Seasonal & Produce-Led Cooking
Champion the use of seasonal, local, and home-grown produce from gardens, orchards, and on-site livestock
Adapt menus daily based on what the land provides
Contribute to dishes that reflect the venues modern countryside food ethos
Maintain knowledge of ingredients grown and produced on-site
Operational Standards
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of all breakfast dishes
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and workstation readiness
Follow established SOPs to support consistency and efficiency
Work effectively under time-sensitive morning service conditions
Health, Safety & Hygiene
Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Support daily and weekly cleaning routines
Maintain practices aligned with regulatory hygiene guidelines
Team Support & Development
Collaborate closely with the wider brigade, sharing knowledge and maintaining morale
Demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills
Contribute to a culture focused on learning, professionalism, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within breakfast or high-end dining
Strong understanding of seasonal and produce-led cooking
Ability to work efficiently in early-morning service
Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
A passion for high-quality, honest food
