Machine Operator
Location - Liversedge
Duration - Temporary - Permanent
Hours - 38.5 hours per week. Day shift 8am - 4:30pm - must be flexible to work shifts as this will soon be introduced (AM and PM rotating)
Salary - £12.21p/h, once fully trained rising to £14.30p/h

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery used in the production of non-woven felt. Training will be provided on the machine with a training period that could last up to 6 months, depending on the individual's aptitude and progress.
The role requires a reliable individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
All aspects of operating textile machinery:
Supervising the process
Feeding fibres into the machine
Machine minding
Thorough cleaning between batches
Loading / unloading
Goods in / Goods out
General housekeeping duties
Desired Skills:
Previous experience in carding and or felt / non-woven manufacturing
FLT Licence would be desirable
Able to flexibly work rotating shift patterns
Great attention to detail
Ability to multitask
Good Level of physical fitness
Willingness to work
Positive attitude towards work
Responsibility and reliability
